One of my friends recently got a job at vectors marketing where they sell Cutco knives. I understand she needs clients to make money, but she wants to get my mother involved to buy the knives. I’ve already declined her offer twice but she still is trying to convince me to make an appointment with her. How do I make it clear I’m not interested without offending her?

What are the advantages of taking German over French?
I’m going to 9th Grade and am currently going to take German 2 that year. My friends and family have pressured me to switch my mind and take French.
What are the advatages of taking German as opposed to French. When I grow up that is, what job oppurtunities does a knowledge in German give better than French. What oppurtunites does French give that German doesnt – or atleast not as much.

Is it really possible to go to college full time and work full time?
I guess it depends on the person. Some of my friends do it. I work part time and go to college full time now and I barely have a life as it is. My boss wants to promote me and the job would be full time and more money per hour. I really want to take the offer. I could go to school part time, but I’m in my last year now and I just want to graduate.

How would you go about getting new playground equipment for a local park?
The park in our small town has playground equipment that is very old, unsafe, and unappealing to children’s eyes. I would like to somehow go about getting a new playground for all the children in the neighborhood, but I have to idea where to begin as far as who to talk to and how to raise money or apply for grants/ funding to get the job done. Does anybody have any experience in this department or know of how to go about it??

What to wear for phase one of job interview/preliminary testing?
I am a woman. I have an interview tomorrow for a sales manager role at a large company. The first phase of the interview process is testing (a computer program, math problems, etc). I am not sure how to dress for the preliminary testing phase. I will wear a suit to the actual interview but should I also wear a suit for this step or is a dress shirt and dress pants appropriate? I REALLY want this job and I don’t want to blow it. Thanks.

Is there any foster care companies that pay foster parents a salary other than just reimbursments?
I live in Pennsylvania and my husband and I are interested in becoming foster parents. I currently work a very demanding job therefore I would feel it most appropriate to leave my current job however I would need to make some of that income up. Does any on e know of any foster care agencies that pay a salary adn not just reimbursments for clothing, etc.? Any information would be great! Thanks in advance.

What is a good job that is in the medical field that pays well?
I want to be a doctor when I get a little older and I want to start gathering up some ideas on what type of job I want. I know I want to be a doctor, but I just don’t know which type. I want a list of good medical jobs (in hospitals) that pay very well. If you could write down as many jobs in the doctor field that you know, that would be great. I’m looking to be some type of surgeon maybe.

Why do southern people that work in communication hide their southern accent when doing their job?
Where I work, there is a department of women that answer phones and deal with customers over the phone.
Most of these women are southern belles and whenever I have a conversation with them, they talk in their regular thick "proud to be a southerner" accent…but, when I hear them answer the phones at work, they change/hide their accent and talk as if they are from up north.
What gives?
Is the southern accent unacceptable in the customer service industry?
It is obvious that it really irritate these women having to hide their natural accent whenever they answer the phones at work.

Hi, i was wondering what the difference between the canadian army and the canadian army reserves is. I heard something about how in the army you are signed up for so many years, whereas the reserves are like any other job. Any info you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.

Does my writing sample have to relate to the job matter?
I am applying for an internship to a political company that shares the my same ideals. The company asked me to submit two writing samples… must I share samples that relate to politics or can I share samples of other paper? What’s the best thing for me to do?
