I will be applying to law school next year and I am concerned about my lack of job experience. I’ve been working consistently since I was 16, but either in sales or in the childcare industry. Will these type of jobs badly affect my chances of getting into an excellent law school?
I attend a very prestigious school with a decent GPA and am an athlete as well as a board member of a large club.
Should I try to get a job in another field in order to boost my application? If so, what type of positions should I be looking for.
Thanks!

Hey. I have already started looking at colleges .
The College I have my eye on right now is West Virginia University
In the fall I run Cross country, in the winter I run winter track, and in the spring I run spring track.
I am not participated in any clubs but i have been doing three seasons of sports since freshman year.
My grades are at a b- (2.9 gpa)
Are the sports good enough or do i need more? Thanks

I am a sophomore approaching junior status with 56 units at my community college. I want to know the requirements to become a physical therapist. What would I need to do to prepare for a major change? My GPA is only a 3.4. I have no grades under a B.

I am going into my second year of community college and I am remaining a very good gpa (3.2) and i was wondering what my chances were of making it into an out of state university? I’m going to go into a university after my AA but I would rather go somewhere out of state and i know that changes my chances. What do you think?

I am finishing up my freshman year and will most likely have a GPA between a 3-3.5. Am a philosophy major and varsity athlete.
Any information on my chances of getting in or what I should do to up my chances would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

I am going to be applying at a few schools.
Under admissions, it only says 2.5 GPA and essay over topic of your choice. Why aren’t there any test scores or anything else to go by?
Oh, I should add this is Regent’s American College in London. Has anyone applied/been accepted there? What was the admissions process like?

The college I have applied to requires that you have a 19 on the Math portion of your ACT, but I didn’t do very good on that portion and I got a 17. I have a 3.6 GPA and they require a 3.4, and I have met all the other requirements. Is it still possible to get in?
I forgot to mention that the school is USF, if it makes any difference.

I started out at a community college and did decently there. I then transferred to a university and had some mental health issues which had a very negative effect on my school performance and I wanted to know if I were to retake a class does the original grade get dropped from counting towards my GPA?
