Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 4:14 pm

If you’ve seen House then you’ll understand this more. On House-the TV show- they show how children – adults get these 1 in a million or billion chance disease. Everytime I see something like that happen to someone or hear that it’s happened to someone, I end up thinking that sometime soon it’ll happen to me. I wish to know the name of the ‘phobia’ that I have or a scientist/doctor/someone who I can contact to ask. Thank you.

Does getting a job affect your monthly social security pensions?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 9:34 pm

My mom receives a social security pension each month and she forbids me to get a job in fear that the social security pension will lower or be taken away if I get a job. Is this true? She also says that my sister and I receive a monthly pension because of my dad, who’s passed away. If I get a job, will that be taken as well?

What generation is the most contemptible?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 10:44 pm

The "Greatest" Generation or WWII generation? They did display a lot of physical courage during WWII but cowered in fear anytime a leftist called them a name and yelled at them and ended up allowing the social experimentation that brought us to where we are today demographyicly
.

The Baby Boomers? They had a really good time. They had all the advantages of a segregated society and a good school system. No they brag about how they screwed it up for the rest of us.

Generation X? Bought into the idea that the Baby-boomers were cool.

How do I clean the inside of my purse and diaper bag?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 6:33 pm

I have a purse I got at Kohl’s and a diaper bag I got at Target.

Both were about each. They have been used by someone who smokes and I want to clean them. I have called all the dry cleaners in my area and no one cleans purses. The oustide of the purses are fine – it is the inside smell.

I don’t want to put them in my washer – for fear of breaking it. I have read to put baking soda on the inside and then Febreze it. My major concern is the smoke smell for the diaper bag – as I will be giving birth in a few days and I don’t want to contaminate my newborn’s things.

Should I just take them to the laundromat? I really can’t afford to buy another diaper bag – and I like the purse. Any suggestions???

How do you deal with taking responsibility in a relationship?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 3:00 pm

I’m a guy and I know that girls like us to take initiative and make decisions. How do I get over the fear of being responsible for a lot of the relationship. A lot of times guys get blamed for taking advantage of girls or being jerks. When you make decisions you walk a thin line between making the other person happy and giving them the opportunity to ruin your reputation. How do I deal with this??

Which of the following best explains why prices tend to be inflexible?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 2:59 pm

Which of the following best explains why prices tend to be inflexible even when demand changes?
1) Government regulations limit the number of times a firm can change prices in a year.
2) In most industries the profit-maximizing price does not change even when demand changes.
3) Production costs do not tend to change when a firm varies its level of output.
4) Firms may be reluctant to change prices for fear of setting off a price war or losing customers to rivals.

What do the preceding quotes represent? Why do you think Shakespeare finds the concept below important?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 11:43 am

Fair is foul, and foul is fair:

So foul and fair a day I have not seen.

Good sir, why do you start; and seem to fear
Things that do sound so fair?

Not so happy, yet much happier

Cannot be ill, cannot be good: if ill,

If good, why do I yield to that suggestion
Whose horrid image doth unfix my hair
And make my seat heart kniock at my ribs,
Against the use of nature?
