I live in Houston, TX and there is a big homeless problem here. I have had my car broken into, property stolen from my fenced and gated lawn, and been shaken down for change by the local homeless people that hang out on my street. I have called the cops repeatedly and they never bother to show up. There are several men who steal repeatedly, and in broad daylight, from the construction site across the street from my house (I’m pretty sure they are the ones stealing from my lawn.) There are also two crackheads that hang out on the park bench directly across from my home. I don’t feel safe outside of my home and can’t even own a grill because it is repeatedly stolen. I understand that many people may not belive that my opinion is politically correct, but I want these bums gone. What can I do to get rid of the vagrants hanging out around my house?

I have contacted the police on many, MANY different occassions. I have filed three police reports, and I explained clearly why these people are hanging out around my property. Please read my entire question before telling me that I am only complaining. I don’t have a problem with homeless people who are not dealing drugs and stealing my belongings. Vagrants do NOT have a right to deal drugs in front of my property, nor do they have the right to steal from me or my neighbors.
