I need to find a site that is very thorough and far reaching about careers including the demand for them and their usual salaries. Since the career I am looking into is a rehabilitative aide, this site would have to have a very strong information base (very inclusive). Thanks for any and all help.

What kind of job can a get if I major in Sociology or Phsycology?
Hi Im currently attending a junior college and for now Im majoring on Criminal Justice because I want to become a probation officer. I talked to a counselor and she told me to consider majoring on Sociology or Phsycology because it help me become a P.O. and will give me on a wider range of career paths. So my question is what other careers can I get if I mojor in one of the two?

How would it look to colleges if I decide to drop a class in high school?
I’m taking yearbook and I’m finding it completely useless while being a ton of extra work and I’d like to take something that helps me out a bit more, i.e. Contemporary World Issues or Anatomy because those classes both pertain to some of the careers I’ve narrowed my search down to. I had an A in the first semester but it’s just not a class I want to continue to take. I’m a freshman if that changes anything.

What kind of careers or Degrees should I look into if I want to work with mentally challenged people?
I know I want to work with Mentally Challenged people, I’d like to help them gain independence such as obtaining job, and learning to live on their own. I just want to help them in whatever they need help in, what should I study or field should I be looking into?

im 27yr male,will i be frowned upon if i want to become a kindergarden teacher?
i work on the building site but i want to change careers,i want to work with kids,not teenagers,i have done charity work based on kids in mongolia,russia and thailand and going to vietnam this summer.im only 27 and i do have afew little scars on my face from drunking fights(18 months sober since)will i be looked upon by people in colleges or nurserys if i go for it?

What are some careers you can have if you major in history?
I want to be veterinarian but im having second thoughts and i want to major in history if i do decide not to become a veterinarian. I’m only in the tenth grade so i still have a little time to decide.
