I’m going through a foreclosure, so my credit has dropped. I pay my student loans on time (they have adjustable rates), but will they raise the interest rate if they notice my credit is poor?

Can you still get federal student loans if you have bad credit?
I want to go back to school so I can get better jobs and have more money. I have really bad credit though. I know private lenders won’t touch me, but what about government loans?

What is my chance of getting a private student loan?
I have bad credit and definately need a co-signer, which I have. My relative has like a 720 score, but on retired SS, limited income. Are there any easy companies to get approved for a student loan. All federal aid exhausted, so this is my only option. Anyone with a similar experience?
