How does one get into becoming a writer in the history field?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 2:57 am

I am 3/4 away from obtaining my bachelors degree in history, and I intend to go into graduate school–eventually getting my doctorate. Now, how and when can I begin writing monograms or history novels for publication. I guess what I am asking is what does it take to get into becoming a writer? Where to begin? Is there anything I can do during school to get my feet wet?

Is a computer science degree any good for computer forensics?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 12:40 am

I’m studying for my bachelors degree in computer science, and I might continue on to get a masters degree. I have my A+ and Network+ certifications, and I’m planning on getting Linux, Network Security, and the Microsoft certifications.

Can I get a job doing computer forensics with this? If not, what should I do to increase my chances of getting a computer forensics job?

Thanks
Just a little more info: I do more programming than anything with computers, but I’m pretty good with the non-programming side too.

I really can’t think of anything else I want to be but I don’t want to go to grad school. Is there a profession like psychology that only requires 4 years in college? What kind of job could I get with a psychology bachelors degree?

If I am pursuing a bachelors degree should I even bother getting an associates in the mean time?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 6:59 am

I want to transfer community colleges because they have a better basketball team and I would get more exposure. You need to have like 45 of your credits at this school I want to go to to graduate from there…But I am going to a 4 year school after, reguardless, so should I even bother getting an assosciates and just transfer after 2 years at the CC level.

What is the difference between undergraduate work and earnig a bachelors degree?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 2:55 am

I am currently attaining my AA degree. I am thinking of what to do next. However, I am unsure of the difference of "undergraduate work" and the classes I take in earning a BA. Is it not the same? Different sort of schools? Different result?

Wanting to live/work in Japan although I barely know the language. No Bachelors degree any suggestions?

Category: KTVLair.ComGuest @ 6:08 pm

Hello I am wanting to experience life in Tokyo, Japan. I have always been fascinated with Japan. Does anyone know any programs that are available for temporary work in Japan that one may obtain without a Bachelors Degree? I am currently in college but my university does not allow study abroad and my college doesn’t offer Japanese language classes. I am wanting a total immersion in the culture any suggestions?
