My teacher got suspended and I was just wondering, if he got suspeneded does that mean he could get fired and never work in the same state again?

Not necessarily — especially if he has tenure.
First, he’d have to have a hearing. Then the results of the hearing would go into whether he simply suspended or fired. To fire a teacher with tenure is very difficult. If the school fired him, whether or not he taught some place else would depend upon the REASONS for the firing. If, for example, it was poor performance or a maybe doing something stupid — but not a pattern, most likely he could teach elsewhere. If he did something illegal, had a pattern of abuse of students, etc., then the school administration could go to the state and recommend that he lose his teaching license. If the state revokes his license, THEN he could not work in that state again.

if he got suspended, it was for a reason..it could mean that he could eventually get fired, but I don’t think it would go as far as not working in the same state again..

No, the teachers union is very strong. It takes a long time to fire anyone. They just get a free paycheck and have to do non-teacher admin duties which means pretty much nothing.
