If it looks legitimate and has a fake phone number and website to back it up then what could possibly go wrong?

This is done simply by reference-checking your information via a number of background-related media. There are entities whose sole market is in information-gathering and security background investigation.

They ask the college that’s on the certificate to see if it’s real. ————> FAIL lol

  3. Bryanna says:

They check the website and they call the number.
    You go to jail.

depending on what you are planning on going into, at this current time no one might know. in the very near future the department of education will have a website that all degrees can be checked out as they have made a priority of combating both fraud and diploma mills.

The doctor about to operate on you has a great looking college degree on the wall. Wanna know if it’s real?

  6. Scorpion says:

They check if the college is credited with board of education etc.
but still there are a lot of ppl working with fake degree. be careful spending your money of fake online universities, unless it’s credited.

When I’ve applied for jobs in the past, getting hired was contingent on a background check. This means that they paid an investigative firm to check on things……like your college degree. First of all, if nobody has ever heard of your college they will check it out and find out if it’s accredited. OK, no accreditation. Now they will get really suspicious and will try to call people at the school, etc. etc.
